RK3399 PCBA Use For Advertising Machine Ultra-High Definition Display Screen
YT-12 is a core board based on RK3399, which is independently developed, produced and sold by Shenzhen YECON Technology Co., Ltd. RK3399 represents the top level of domestic chips. It is a six-core high-performance CPU composed of four A53 cores and two A72 cores, and the main frequency is up to 2GB.
RK3399 is a monster in terms of both CPU and GPU. The dual Cortex-A72 CPU with large cores and four Cortex-A53 CPU with small cores are optimized for integers, floating-point, memory, etc., providing revolutionary improvements in overall performance, power consumption, and core area. GPU adopts a new generation of high-end image processor Mali-T860 with quad-core ARM, which integrates more bandwidth compression technologies, such as intelligent superposition, ASTC, local pixel storage, etc., and supports more graphics and computing interfaces with the overall performance improved by 45% compared with the previous generation.
While these capabilities are touted as "top of the line" by the solution chip industry, The advantages of RK3399 go far beyond these points. What is attracting is that the three features of Type-C interface, built-in PCI-E interface and dual camera support gesture recognition, which will be subversive to the experience of game box products, as well as support for LPDDR4 memory and many other new features, are all ahead of the current mainstream products.
Thanks to the high configuration and overall performance improvement, as well as the overall layout, the RK3399 is born to be a multi-faceted expert. In addition to tablet PC, VR, TV-box, notebook, RK3399 applications also cover a variety of industrial and consumer terminals, including smart home appliances, advertising/all-in-one machines, financial POS machines, vehicle control terminals, thin-client computer ,VOIP video conferencing, security/surveillance/police and IoT Internet of Things and other fields.

MIPI design
MIPI is an alliance formed in 2003 by ARM, Nokia, ST, TI and other companies. The goal is to standardize the internal interfaces of mobile phones, such as cameras, displays, and RF base-band interfaces, so as to reduce design complexity and increase design flexibility. MIPI is a relatively new standard. At present, more mature applications include DSI (display interface) and CSI (camera interface).
RK3399 supports DSI and CSI, DSI corresponds to the 74th to 83rd pin of the board, which is used to connect the display screen of MIPI interface;
CSI corresponds to pins 74 to 73 of the board, which is used to connect the camera with the MIPI interface. In addition, RK3399 also has a MIPI interface, which can be used for DSI or CSI, corresponding to the 54th to 63rd pin of the board. Users can flexibly choose according to their own needs. The data transmission rate of the MIPI interface is much higher than that of the LVDS interface. When wiring, the differential line of equal length must be used, and the impedance matching is 100 ohms.
